I thought the nightmare was over but it had only began. Seven years later and Im still struggling with Home Affairs. Their destroying my life!!!

<p>I will tell the story in the order I found out whats going on....</p> <p><br />In 2009, I was grade 11. I went to school like normal just to get there and find out Im no longer registered at school but rather at another. In 2010(matric year) I went to home affairs George to apply for my first I.D. The person behind the desk told me that I have already app**** previously for an Identification document and I was confused. They gave me documents that I had to take to the creché,primary school,High School and church I attended to prove I am who I say I am. I did what they required of me,then they said I should wait 6 to 7months before I could get my I.D. I waited almost and I decided to go back. On arrival at George Offices a spoke to a manager and he told me they only forgot to sent me my I.D. My mother asked them why the I.D number was still the same and they rep**** "We investigated and the issues is now resolved." I was happy that it was all over and excited to get back to my life. Later that year, final exams came and my high school, Sao Bras Secondary, told me that unfortunetly I could not write exams since I was already registered at another school in Cape Town to write exams. I was shocked and scared cause its my future were talking about. Luckily I told the school about what happened at Home Affairs and they created a special number which was associated with the school that would allow me to continue to write exams. <br />I thought the nightmare was over but it had only began. Seven years later and Im still struggling with Home Affairs. I found out when I was employed at Nestlé Mossel Bay that I could not get medical aid with discovery becuase I already have an account with them. And I honestly didn't have at that time. And Nestlé contract states that no employee can work without medical aid. So I was scared I could lose my job,so I spoke to HR and they assisted me in any way they could. <br />Last year(2015). I found out that I'm a duplicate case but the funny part is that we share not only the same I.D number but also the same name and surname (Kyle Josephs with I.D number 921 ********** 086). I found out because I wanted to register one of my vehicles on my name at the traffic department and other vehicles which I have no knowledge of also popped up and I had to pay outstandind balances for those vehicles. I found the "other Kyle" on Facebook and asked if he knew bout me and he said yes. And soon as I contacted him, he started making a lot of debt and blocked his cards.</p> <p><br />So currently a lot of debt collectors and clothing shops are contacting me to pay his debt. FnB is deducting money straight from my account even though I already spoke to them,explaining the situation and I have evidence. They can even see on their sytem that their deducting from the wrong Kyle Josephs... but they still deduct. SARS said I owed them over R10 000 for tax evading because I only handed in the places I worked and not where the other Kyle worked. I found out we also share the same tax number,meaning I don't know whose going to get my provident fund when I finish. Him or me?</p> <p><br />I've never had debt. The only debt i currently have is my Nissan Np200 which i bought new and is financed by Wes Bank. Currently I can't buy or do anything because all the companies pick up his debt and decline me. I can't buy a house or even trade my bakkie for a car. <br />I've approached more then law firms and all of them are stunned because they've never heard of such a predicament. They all say they can't help me, I should go to home affairs. I'm lost and don't know where to turn anymore.</p> <p><br />Last year the other Kyle was caught with dagga and since we share the same name,surname and I.D number it is also on my record with the police. I'm scared cause at any given time he could maybe **** someone or do horrible things and I'll be blamed or charged for something I didn't do.<br />My name is Kyle Josephs,921 ********** 086,I'm from Mossel Bay and I need your help. Oh and before I forget according to their system he is the "real" Kyle Josephs and Im the duplicate. According to Home Affairs' system I do not fall under my mother on record. When a mother gives birth to a child the system puts the childs info under the mothers details. </p> <p><br />So do I even exist? Do I have any human rights? And can you please help me?????!!!! </p> <p><br />I've not only been to George branch. I even went to a branch in Cape Town. I followed all of Home Affairs' procedures and it seems to be getting me nowhere.If he gets married then Im married. <br />If he divorces,I'm divorced and his wife takes half of everything I have. If he dies, am I dead as well?! </p>
