HORRIBLE SERVICE

I went to home affairs akasia to change my child's surname from mine surname to her dad's one I went there to enquire then they told me I needed to get an affidavit and ID from the dad's side since the dad is deceased Today I went there and they said they can't accept the affidavit they need the person who wrote the affidavit... Two people were called and they said NO..My concern is that why on the day I went to do the enquiry they told me that I only needed an affidavit?then today when I'm there they need the person?The 2 ladies at the enquiries desk gave me so much bad attitude as if I wanted money or worse their husband Where is customer service at this Home Affairs?Why was I treated so bad?Is it because maybe I'm black and maybe I don't know my rights??

This situation needs to change ASAP
