Home of useless affairs

I have tried to call the help line number several times to find out about my unabridged marriage certificate yet no one answers and there is just that stupid automated message. None of the departments answer their lines (Durban and Pretoria). It just rings and rings as if noboby is there. What is the point of having a helpline number when there is no help on the other end! I then tried to email a few people on there personal emails and still no answer. The other problem I have is that the people working at home affairs, work like snails and have no worry in the world, yet we must stand in a line from 6 in the morning till 3 in the afternoon just to apply for ID and passports. Change the systems and make the system faster. That story of always being offline is highly frustrating as people take off work just to stand in a line and be turned away. The other thing is I was told I get a letter on no impediment on the day of my marriage interview which never happened. I get told that I am married and on system they cant go back and check my records before when I was single. A simple letter which I need to register my marriage in a overseas country. Highly dissapointed and unsatisfied with home affairs.
