HOME AFFAIRS TAKING A WHOLE MONTH TO ISSUE PASSPORT

i have app**** for my passport online and then went for my biometrics into somerset west branch on the 7th of July, I was then advised that my passport application is under investigation due to my fingerprints and that it should be sorted within the 14 working days duration. I have been calling in everyday as I need my passport in order to book my flights as it is a work trip, and need it to be done ASAP. This is really rediculous that you do not get informed that I am being 'Investigated" , I have escalated the matter numerous of times and still nothing. I NEED THIS TO BE SORTED ASAP
