Home Affairs Pinetown - New system off line for a Month

<p>I have been trying for three weeks to apply for 1. renewal of ID and Passport and 2. New Passport for my daughter. Been to H.A. Pinetown several times to be told after queing for serveral hours that 1. the payment systems is off line 2. the scanner is off line 3. the photo equipment is off line, and so the story goes. I am told to go to another office and when i call them they are having the same problem which means if i had travelled there i would have waisted by money and time. I have done all the documents on line to - that does not help as they still have to scan the document when you get there. Grrr ask when it will be online - the technicians are working on it................. Grrrr (My daughter needed her passport by the end of June 2017 to compete in a Maths in Thailand.) </p>
