Home Affairs not processing documents for 8 years and not bothered to help.

Very poor service of Government Home Affairs a can be expect. I Married my Wife last year november which was divorced from her 1st husband about 8 YEARS ago. The degree was received and all information handed over to our Minister. Home affairs did not process that degree of divorce and my minister have been there countless times to hand in documents and send it to Pretoria. We even went in and sat the whole day there to try to get it resolved as they were offline then online again. They have the copies of the ID, the copy of the degree of divorce and even the verification they did on my wife. Still to this day nothing has been done with that degree of divorce as the system still shows me as single, my wife as married and not divorced. It does not help to phone the hotline as it just ends your call.
