Home Affairs - JHB CBD - Horrible , Terrible, Nightmare of an experience

I know that this review would probably not gain momentum, that it would not be heard, escalated or even addressed. I feel the need to warn other users of the Horrific and Terrible experience at the DHA in Johannesburg Central.

After waiting for hours and hours in a queue for collection of a document, I was firstly met by rude Security staff (Mr Zulu), to rude arrogant staff/tellers which have no Customer Services experience or even know how to speak or explain a simple question/ situation when asked. I was rudely told to wait one side, They (Kgotso Moloko and Masisi Kgosihaga) refused to assist me whilst people who were behind me were given preference and served before me. The Deputy Manager (MR Adams) intervened after I had contacted him as shade was being thrown around, belittling me and the situation threatening to turn violent on their side. Mr Adams tried to salvage the situation and even then his staff showed him how disrespectful they are by blatantly ignoring his instructions to issue me my document, They refused to apologize to me and after much practically begging and like they were doing me a favor I received my document . At this time, the Home Affairs were closed already. They close at 15h30 and I had been there since 9am. This was pure spiteful behavior on their part having made me wait that long and the embarrassment suffered treated in such a manner in front of a whole building filled with other people. MR Adams even said to me that in such an environment that such things are bound to happen , and I can understand that but not too the level of such rudeness and unprofessionalism. The staff at the DHA JHB needs training and a serious and huge intervention!!!!!!
