Home Affairs is Beyond Useless; No Words for their Incompetence

I'm battling to get an appointment at one of the banks' home affairs desks. Everytime I try to log on to my profile and reset my password since early Dec 2022, I never receive the OTP that they promise to send by SMS. I’m terribly frustrated. I went to Nedbank in St Georges Mall, Cape Town. The Home Affairs guy there, Thapelo, wouldn't entertain my request for application for a passport, without an appointment, despite me showing to him on my phone that the home affairs website doesn't work. He couldn't care less.

they are just beyond useless. This level of horrible service is intolerable. The banks don’t want to entertain me if I don’t have an appointment.
