Home Affairs in Pretoria going the extra mile

<p>In a time where a lot of government departments are receiving a lot of criticism, I was proud to receive really professional service from Home Affairs recently when I urgently needed a naturalisation letter. Being in Cape Town, it had to come from Pretoria and was going to take between 6-12 weeks, which would have been too late for me. I managed to get a number for the office that deals with these letters in Pretoria and on the Tuesday morning spoke to a very friendly, helpful and professional Mrs Lorraine Ndobela Mashigo. By the Friday she had done the letter and promptly emailed the PDF to me. I could not have been more grateful! She saved me a lot of headache, stress and money.
