home affairs fail

Can anybody please help?I am so disgusted with Home affdairs i have been trying to get my late mothers marital status changed on her death certificate as they were the ones who made a mistake in the first place her status says married instead of widowed or unmarried when infact my father passed more than 5 years ago,i am now battling to get through to home affairs to follow up on this change and to no avail,you either kept hanging on to a line that just rings or you on hold for 15 minutes and longer or nobody picks up its urgent that this is done and changed as i am having to deal with my moms estate late and everything is at a standstill because we await the updated death certificate and its been almost 6 months
