Home Affairs Citizenship section 4(3) delays

I app**** for Citizenship under section 4(3) of the citizenship act. I was told to wait 3 months before checking on the application. They always say they haven't heard anything for from the head office in Pretoria. It's almost a year now with no updates. I know some people in the same boat as me and honestly it's discouraging. No one seems to know what's truly happening. I just hope and pray this nightmare ends sooner than later.
