Home affairs Centurion :Passport

I app**** for a passport and for my Sons on the 04 of March, mine came out within a week. My son's passport is not out but yet we app**** the same day. It hasn't even been sent to Pretoria to be processed. We've been to home affairs Centurion 3times already as we were suppose to travel tomorrow but there's no explanation to why it's still not out. 1 of thier stuff called me and offered to put a pioririty on it but it'll cost me R2500.. Don't know what to do anymore. As far as I know passport only takes about 5 working days. Now I have to bribe someone to get the passport out. I bought a flight ticket already as I thought I have app**** on time, and I can't leave my son behind.
