Home affairs back to being horror affairs

My Dad passed away in March 2019 and when my mom tried to claim money from insurance she was told she needs a new marriage certificate as the one she possesses is way too old, she app**** for a new marriage certificate hoping to get after two months as promised but to date she hasn’t received a new one. She’s been to the Home Affairs offices in Vanderbijlpark where she app**** for the certificate but no one has the answers as to how far is the process. She was referred to the supervisor who acted surprised about the delay and took my mom’s number, promised to investigate and get back to her but that also didn’t happen. My Dad was a bread winner and my mother is really struggling as there’s no income at the moment. Looks like it’s gonna be a black Christmas for her and it hurts her so so much
