Home affairs Akasia

I visited Home affairs Akasia this morning to collect my son ID, he already went back to school almost 380 km away from me PTA. He will only come back on holidays, I was told he must come in person to collect his ID. IAM his mother I produced my I'd and also my name reflect on the ABRIDGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE.I am kindly asking home affairs minister to review this is frustrating and inconveniencing our lives.like I had my ID and my son birth certificate indicating ai am the mother.Home affairs is so ***********.my son is in grade 12 what must I do
