Home affaires Port Elizabeth Goven Mbeki branch
I did an online application for a ID for my daughter who is currently in Matric after being sent away several times due to system being offline, none the less I am currently at the Goven Mbeki Port Elizabeth branch to complete the application as per the email received, when my thumb print is scanned the system gives an error, the lady who assisted me said she does noy know what is wrong with my thumb priny, however when I read the screen it seems to be a IT error, the lady was so rude and loud screaming at me after I asked her if someone else could possibly check, she just said then I won't explain further, I asked for the supervisor and she said that she is the supervisor, I asked for the manager and was told that she is the manager. The lady who assisted me was seated at counter 6,she did not wear a name badge or introduce herself to us upon arrival. The lady who assited us is at counter 8. We now sitting here after arriving here at 9,there is currently a strike happening so only 1st time Ids are being assited, so its not busy here at all. No one is assisting or trying to assist us. Staff is so rude and disrespectful, so much for service delivery. Something needs to be done to the situation, soon matric exams are coming, no one can assist or advice on what needs to be done.
