Helping out a South African overseas

We are based overseas and we have a son at boarding school in Johannesburg. The embassy where we live does not have any Home affairs staff so could not help us with renewing his passport. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Riana Horne and Phillip Rambuda at the Pretoria Home Affairs office who went out of their way to assist a very stressed mother get her son home.
