GUILTY for travelling with my own child

The new 'travelling with children in and out of SA' law is extremely frustrating, badly implemented and unlike other laws assumes you are GUILTY until proven innocent. The official website states 'unabridged birth certificate' and ' affidavit' from the parent who is not travelling with you - however, we spent 2 hours at the airport arguing this with immigration as they also wanted a certified copy of their ID. Eventually they agreed that a printout of the ID , sent via WhatsApp would suffice!?!? On the return from Amsterdam, we went through all the same checks to get back in, causing delays in take-off. Its objective is admirable - but a better solution must be realized. Not only did I feel like a ********, it was upsetting for my daughter
