Government officials are lazy

I app**** for a death register (bi663) of my late dad, in March 2019 at soweto branch home affairs. I was told that the document would be ready within 4 - 6 weeks. The lady who assisted me, advised me to take their toll free call center, as they become much faster when you keep on pestering them. It's almost 7 months now and I still haven't received anything. I call them every now and then, but still no results. Even tried going through their complaints route, but I was still not assisted. I don't know what to do now, as that document is urgently needed and it seems like home affairs officials are just getting paid for nothing. They don't practice the batho Pele principle at all
