i have been trying to change my daughters surname for the past 3 years, and i must say the service at the department of home affairs are utterly disgusting, i have been dealing with this one lady at germiston home affairs she is suppose to be the office manager and her customer service is really disgusting, i have been trying to get an update from her for my daughters birth certificate for almost a month and she just ignores my phone calls and messages, i really am tired of home affairs, i will be taking things further maybe someone in a much higher position can assist with my matter and maybe assist these people with my customer service to get some.

i would not recommend germiston home affairs to anyone as the you will just waste your time going there
