George Home Affairs

Installment no. 5 in this sorry saga : Eight months have now slipped by ,since we app**** and paid for a copy of an unabridged marriage certificate. Various visits to the George branch ,where mrs. Davids presides over the proceedings , have yielded zero! Apparently the process of producing a valid copy, calls for a search in the Archives somewhere , and this is where everything grinds to a halt. In the meantime people's lives are disrupted , because of a refusal by some people to do the job they are paid for.
