Frustration over unabridged birth & marriage certificate

On 03 January we went to the Randburg home affairs to apply for the 3 kids passport, unabridged certificates & a copy of our marriage certificates. We received passport and 2 birth certificates. The department lost the 1 application for the birth certificate and we also have not yet received our marriage certificate. When you call the call center agents indicates to us they can see the application online but can't tell us why we have not received our document 20 months later. Home affairs is pathetic.
