Falsely accused by DHA, hanging on a thin thread

I placed an application through VFS global Durban branch for a renewal of my DZP to a ZSP so that I may further apply for a general work permit as I have obtained the required work experience. When I got my result it said previous conviction (unspecified). Funny thing is I've never been convicted of any crime in this country or any other. So I sent an email to Mr Gerson Muti who is responsible for these ZSP permits he advised it was an error and I should consider this void. I have been calling both VFS and DHA to follow up on this and none seem to have any progress all i get is they are still being reviewed yet there are thousands of people who haven't received a result. A grace letter stating that employers should bare with the process till end of July 2015 was given to my employers so that I could continue to work. There is two weeks needed to confirm if I will be allowed to legally work in this country and there are still no answers from both VFS and DHA. Need a solution not to be told to wait I think waiting over 6 months is more than enough time to wait and my life is hanging on a thin thread thanks to this incompetence.
