Failure from Home Affairs

I app**** at Home Affairs through VFS for a change in condition in term of study visa. My application was unsuccessful for the reason that I produced a ********** letter from my learning institution. Which was for me very strange as I study at a State owned university named the University of Western Cape (UWC) where I graduated with an Honours degree at the begining of April. Therefore I asked the international student office of uwc who issued me the letter if they have been contacted by Home Affairs they told me no. I launched an appeal with the support of the university. The university issued me with a new letter as well as a supportive letter. I added other documents such as my 2 degrees to prove to Home Affairs they denied me erroneously. After applying I sent an email to the Director of Appeal where I explained to him my situation and I added that I am meant to go for an exchange programme in the UK therefore I wanted my application to be reviewed as fast as possible. He transfered my request by the end of May my application was finalised. However I only managed to get the outcome on the 25th of June 2018, 5 days before the expiration of my visa with again another rejection and a note asking me to leave the Republic of South Africa. I am still shocked by the decision because again the Department never called my institution and I wonder if they even checked the documents I have submitted. At this point I don't know who can assist me at Home Affairs and investigate this matter.
