Extremely Poor Service – Smart ID Application Ignored

I app**** for my Smart ID at the Department of Home Affairs Tongaat in March 2025, and to date, I have received no assistance or update. Despite multiple follow-ups via email, I have been completely ignored. I even escalated the matter to HACC, Derrick Naidoo, Fikile Shabalala, Aldino Subramoney, and Andrew Ngonyama—yet not a single response from anyone. This level of disregard for the public is unacceptable. It’s been over 7 months, and I still have no idea what the status of my application is. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic service is beyond disappointing. If you’re considering applying at this branch, be prepared to be ignored. I sincerely hope this review prompts someone to take responsibility and fix this broken system.
