Extensive Delay from Department of Home Affairs in relations to Gender Marker Amendment

Am very disappointed at the service and how I've been treated at the Department of Home Affairs.. I've made an application for Gender Marker amendment for ID No: ********** 299082 on the 24th February 2017... And I've been getting the run around since then... I've called a numerous of times and sent endless emails to a point that they didn't respond anymore. Went to an extent of asking someone else to email them on my account ,she was referred to a Ms Josephine Mabunda. This has been a nightmare being transgender and having to explain everytime why my identity doesn't match my Gender on my ID! I need to apply for a Passport for work related purposes, am stack.. I've no idea what's going or what to do anymore!
