Excellent Service

Went last week to Dept of Home Affairs in Alberton to apply for a new birth certificate for my adopted son, and was met by rude, arrogant, unorganized, bad attitude, staff who kept people waiting for hours - even moms with tiny babies had to wait for hours for assistance with birth certificates. One staff member kept me waiting at the counter for 20-30 minutes while she served others that came after me, all with a smug smile on her face. After nearly 3 hours, the process was complete and I could leave.<br> <br> Then today I went to the Brakpan branch to apply for an Unabridged Birth Certificate for my older daughter, and what a pleasant surprise. Ryan Williams was very helpful and friendly and within 15 minutes I had completed the whole process and was on my way.<br> <br> Well done Dept of Home Affairs Brakpan. Seems the service at the other branches don't come close to you at all. Keep it up - and thanks Ryan. You made my day.
