e-visa home affairs - no outcome

i am very disappointed at the handling of Visa applications by department of Home affairs. some thing like a tourist visa should take no longer than 2 weeks especially single entry visa. we have been awaiting adjudication since 6 December 2023, travel dates are approaching flights are booked we are even contemplating cancelling the ticket due to the stress of waiting with no response or communication. Home affairs must outsource e-visa applications, they cannot handle them
