Durban Home Affairs a waste of time

I'm am utterly disappointed and disgusted at the three experiences I had at home affairs. I took public transport thrice and to date never even made it to go inside. First time was sent home due to systems being offline same with the second and on the third attempt I was told that only 140 people can be assisted a day yet I had been there since 6am. I have been trying to apply for my ID since April 2018 to no avail. Only people that pay a bribe get assisted and this is really sad as many people spend money to travel and get there only to be turned away.
