Don't care attitude home affairs menlyn

It's been more than. 6 weeks since I app**** for ID card at menlyn branch ,I was told the ID will be ready for collection before or by 6 weeks . I hv been since enquiring updates. It's either they don't answer the phone or utter words like "others wait for 6 months not weeks" how rude is that. One end up thinking if perhaps it takes bribe to speed the process or what...frustrating. iam speechless
