Don't bother to apply online for a SA passport!

For months I've been trying to apply for a passport online. When eventually the Dha website was available i did so. the website is anything but user friendly. Once this process is done and fees have been paid users need to visit a Home Affairs office for biometrics. I visited 2 yesterday: Alberton and Edenvale. Alberton had a queue of about 200 people and Edenvale was offline. Surely if one goes to the trouble of applying and paying online, the process should be easier. Don't bother! You'll have to stand in the queue with everybody else! What disorganization!!!
