Doe anyone know their work???

Good Day,<br> <br> Not sure where to even begin with this cause it has been happening for years now, 2011 my husband app**** for a surname change, we have been following up and in 2013 we were told the system has changed we need to re-apply meaning paying another R325 which we did. My assumption was the whole family will be changed since the form required that we add all our details. Then it was not the case, my husbands surname eventually changed and we were told we have to pay for me and the kids. Which we did, 1 child was changed, we have been calling to follow up no luck and I went back to home affairs I was told I need to resubmit the docs almost a year later & we have faxed them through as well. Then I am told now I need to pay for the new ID, can someone please explain the process to me? Maybe I am missing something or I am ********. All I know is I am sick of that place, all home affairs are the same anyway. My father inlaw eventually died without his surname being changed after chasing the application for years as well - I GIVE UP but it is sad cause we have no other alternatives
