Dispicabable service to the elderly citizens of SA

My 80 year old mother has lost her ID book. She has been a South African citizen for over 50 years already but clearly to our government that means nothing. firstly she has been shunted from pillar to post trying to replace her ID book as she is not allowed a card and only a few branches 100s of kilomotres away have been suggested for her to go and apply with no guarantee that she will even be sucessful. what does she do? where does turn? DHA you are a disgrace to this country and all of its people
