Disgraceful state of affairs

I recently went to Roodepoort to apply for a new Passport. I received a message last week to inform me that my Passport was ready for collection. One cannot just go to the office to collect the passport, you have to book an appointment. What a ridiculous state of affairs. I did book an appointment and on the day I was due to fetch it, I recieved a call to say the system was down and therefore I had to re book another appointment. I re booked an appointment yestreday the 11 March for collection today. Today I get an E Mail telling me that the system is down AGAIN and that I would have to rebook once again when the system is back on line. What a ridiculous state of affairs. We are really a 3rd rate banana republic!
