Disappointing Springs Department of home affairs

I am in Ekurhuleni Springs Department of home affairs to collect my ID Smart card, I arrived at 10am to a long queue with young and old people baking in the sun, it's now an hour later, I am still standing outside on the queue, Mind you this long Queue is just for people who are only collecting their smart cards

The question is what systems are they using and what process is being app**** because if all you are here to do is collect a smart ID then walking in picking it up and sign to confirm that you picked it up should be the order of the day

I am truly disappointed with this service, I heard over on the news that someone in Soweto collapsed and died whilst in a queue in this heat,

Management need to do something about this
