Disappointed by service at home affairs Randburg branch

I went to home affairs on the 24th November 2023. I never got any message from them, until I went to check again on the 9th January 2024 and I was told that there was a problem with the machine they couldn't track or trace my fingerprints. Yesterday I got a message stating that my ID was not finalized due to fingerprints/photos. Today 26th January I'm sitting at home affairs Randburg I'm told that I have to restart the process and I have to pay again . And home affairs will refund me. How I don't know I'm confused with this. It was my first time doing the smart card now I regret changing my green ID book
