Dept Home Affairs web page not functioning

I have been trying for days to apply online to renew my passport. It took two days to register and now the site is either not available and when it was, it was painfully slow and in most cases I never received their OTP's. The one time I did manage to start the application, it would not allow me to continue to the next page, and no assistance was provided. WHATB A MESS
