Deprtment of Home Affairs - what ******* on line system

I signed up on https://ehome.dha.gov.za/ to try to apply for a passport. I completed the application on 01 March 2024, including payment. The next step is to make a booking at a bank branch. I have been checking almost every day, and each time I check, I get told "No time slots available. Please make anonther selection.". How can it be that for more than a month, there is not one slot available. When I called Home Affairs to query what was going on and to ask if they could assist, they said they could do nothing and that I would have to queue at a Home Affairs branch.

What a useless online system , it should rather be ****ped ...its services nobody ....open it up , so that we can book months in advance ???????
