Department of Home Affiars is the worst government department to deal with

I would give it a zero if I could. The worst possible government department to deal with. Phoned three days in a row now to follow up on a passport application (that I need urgently) and each time I was onhold for more than an hour before someone picks up. Then my details taked, placed on hold again only for the phone to be cut off 20 minutes later with absolutely no reply. Phoned my local branch as well. The whole day yesterday their phone was unanswered. Today they answered only to be as helpful as a brick wall. Dont ever expect any good service from them as you WILL be dissappointed
