Department of Home Affairs - still in process

<p>I went to the dept of home affairs in Randburg on 5 January 2017 and did a change of surname and app**** for a new id under my ****en surname. I have been sending emails and calling many times only to be told that the application is still with the fingerprint verification section. Im being told that the query will be escalated. I sent the last email on Friday and called them 15 minutes ago and its the same story. this is unacceptable and pathetic.</p>
