Department of Home Affairs services gone down drain.

I have app**** for both my kids UBC on 15 March 2022. It is 90 days today from the day I have app****. From April I have phoned no one answers then I started emailing just to find out my sons UBC is at Park Rynie but my daughters one is MIA. Response I get

“Kindly be advised that the Birth Certificate application is still in process, and we have not received feedback from the processing unit since our last communication. Please note that I have forwarded a follow up enquiry to the unit to expedite the process. You should follow up in three weeks for progress updates.”

How can it take so long? I remember in older days you go and they use to print it right there. Both parents are present with ID's and your childs birth certificate why cant they just print it there for you?

No it is missing and when will they "find" it must I re-apply for them to catch a wake up? Seriously service delivery in SA has gone down the drains.

This is very infuriating when you pay for a service and they dont deliver.
