Department of home affairs service failure
I app**** for my id more than a month ago. I received an sms stating that I need to submit supporting documents. When I got there 26/11/2018they asked me for my green barcoded id as a supporting document, the lady then scanned it and sent it off via there system. I then did a follow up a few days later, so they requested my green barcoded id again stating that the first on is too dark. I made a clear copy and then submitted it once again as requested when I called in this morning 7/11/2018 they told me the same story. So I asked what the agent to speak to a supervisor in which she refused, I asked whats the complaints procedure and she told me to speak to the manager of the branch where I app****.I informed her that the person who uploaded my document is the manager Mr Tony and she said then she said he must handle it. I asked her how to resolve this matter she just told me I must take it up with them.
My first time I app**** was last year november except last time I was told I am being investigated because my finger prints does not register.
I have lost countless days of leave as well as lost money because of this processes.
I cannot apply for credit or even a cellphone contract due to my biometric scanning failure at home affairs.
I planned last year to get married this year 30/11/2018 now I cant, my whole life is on hold because of home affairs.
Please assist.
