Department of Home Affairs: Providing NO services

As per their website: " Department of Home Affairs: Providing "people-centred" services! - they are not delivering a service at all.

The SMS nr has not been working for months now, the 0800-nr is not in service, I have called all the numbers at their regional office, as well as 5 additional numbers provided by PTA North Office - no is picking up!

All I need to know is whether they have updated my marital status so I can apply for a new ID ....

It is a tiresome time-consuming dragging process to get anything from Home Affairs! They obviously does not know the meaning of "service"
