Department of Home Affairs office in Zeerust are the Bees knees!!!

Yesterday 20 April 2018 I had to go to Zeerust Home Affairs to renew my passport and apply for me ID card. I live and work in Botswana. What an experience! I stood outside at about 07H30 and was greeted by the security that logged me into the book. At precisely 08H00 we entered the building in the order as per log in and was shown to our seats. I must say that all personnel were seated at their respective desks and looking eager tot do their job. The "Meeter greeter" then came to us and inquired from each individual in a very friendly professional manner what we needed to do at the office and directed us into various areas as to facilitate our needs. After that we were assigned numbers and we then needed to listen when they were called as you went through the system. It took me 53 Minutes from entering the building to being outside again. Everybody was professional and friendly and nobody was treated differently than that. I must congratulate the Office in Zeerust. You are the change we need in South Africa. Well done and keep it up guys, we need more Government offices like that. I will certainly recommend you to all my colleagues here in Botswana. I must say that the atmosphere in that building was fantastic as there was no loud screaming or talking and respect and professionalism was to be felt and seen everywhere
