Department of Home Affairs, KwaZulu Natal, Durban

Hello.

What a terrible disappointment and utter nonsense the Department of Home Affairs, KZN, Durban on Commercial Street is.

We have been in the queue outside in the parking lot since 5am, to our dismay, we still have not been assisted. Word on the street is, there bribes of paying R100 to be assisted or to be pushed further into the line for assistance.

But why is it that this must happen when we are all equal citizens of the Republic of South Africa paying taxes or not? It is our right to be equally assisted and the Batho Pele Principles be practiced by the Government and Parastatal organizations.

This is pathetic and sad because people's lives are place on hold, if not made difficult by such a situation.

Can someone or the Minister of Home Affairs please attend to the nations cry for help at the organization that is in need of salvaging.
