Department of Home Affairs is *********** & Useless

<p>I app**** for an unabridged certificate for my daughter in March 2015 because all the schools requires it when applying for 2016 enrolment for High schools. I have been to the Harrison Street –Home Affairs countless number of times to check on the certificate but with no luck. I was then given a Call Centre Number – ***, serviced by *********** consultants with no answers. I called the call centre on the 03.11.2015 @ 15:13 and spoke to Makgosi who advised that the application has not been processed since March and logged a case on my behalf with a Case no: *** and asked that I call on Friday the 06.11.2015 for feedback. On the 06.11.2015 called again as advised and spoke toTshepiso @ 11:31, who advised that the matter has been escalated to processing department and that there was no feedback yet and escalated the matter and further advised that she will call me on Wednesday -11.11.2015 to provide me with feedback….as expected, that never materialised.</p> <p>After over a year of battling to get my daughter's certificate, I was told by the useless contact centre that my child's birth was never registered and that I needed to go back to the Home Affairs Office to complete a form to register her birth and for the form to be faxed/e-mail to the contact centre, which I did on the 23.03.2016. I have e-mailed them to request feedback after they responded that they have received the documents and to check after 2 weeks with no luck. No one is responding to my e-mails and when calling the ***number, it constantly advises that the line is congested. How long does it take to receive an unabridged certificate....over 2 years? Even sending an e-mail to the Minister is useless because no one rep**** to the e-mail I sent to them on the 13 November 2015....Useless I tell you.</p> <p> </p>
