Department of Home affairs i am now an horrible South African Citizen because of YOUR PATHETIC SERVICE

<p>My name is Stacey-lee , i recently got remarried and documents were handed in to Alberton Home affairs by the minister who received a stamp acknowledging that everything is in order. ( previous marriage docs' divorce decree and new marriage docs )It was done ON THE 13 Dec 2016. I have been following up since February and no changes has been made. I spoke to Tinky Malesa , reference number is ********** 712 , i was told to wait another 2 weeks- which i did. It is now the month of May, and i cannot even apply for my NEW ID- as i am still waiting for details to be updated.</p> <p> </p> <p>How pathetic and disappointing is the service as this should have been updated in 2012 when i got divorced from my first marriage. No one has contacted me with a reasonable answer as to WHY I AM STILL WAITING . Everytime i call, i am on hold for over 20 mins per each call, and everyone says wait 2 weeks, i go in .They cannot assist as their offices in Pretoria is the one thats processing, and the way things seem, i am loosing hope that anyone can actually assist me .</p> <p>Must a person always resort to being rude, or getting other social media platforms to assist, this is not fair, i cant keep taking off work to get the same answer- </p> <p>Please help - I am desperate to have this problem sorted</p> <p>Thank you </p> <p>Stacey- Lee De Klerk </p>
