Department of Home Affairs, George

My wife and I needed to apply for our passports and dreaded having to go into Home Affairs, George. Having lived in Gauteng prior to moving to Wilderness, our experience of the Department of Home Affairs wasn't a very pleasant one. What a welcome surprise, from being met at the door right throughout the process of applying for our passports, ID Cards, and an abridged birth certificate, the staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. I wonder how many people can actually say that they enjoyed their visit to the Department of Home Affairs.
