Department of home Affairs EMpangeni a nightmare

I’’m writing this to send a complaint for home affairs Empangeni.

Yesterday I was there the 19th of May 2022. I came at 14:45 I was made to wait outside only to be told the branch is closed.

When I got inside 15:15 , the workers were gone only one Indian guy helping people. Mind you the working hours are till 16:00. The cashier I found there was on his phone watching videos while there are people waiting to be helped.

Today I get there. The line is long . Some guy approaches me to say I can have his space and pay him R50. I did pay unknowingly to be chased away saying what I did was *******. Mind you the security guard outside saw me giving him money and said nothing. There are no signs stating that this act is prohibited.

Can they also put this in writing outside saying that it’s not allowed so that we are not ****** like this.

As for the branch closing before time. Can you address that.

I also have a video of the worker I found there at 15:15 confirming that I only found him there working. The other workers deny that I was there. They say they left early because there was no one outside.
