I had to write another letter with regards DHA when I app**** for my passport, but they certainly haven't improved. I app**** for my passport renewal on the 2nd of January 2020 & was told it would take around 2 weeks. After more than 20 emails I eventually get told it is ready for collection on the 22nd of September 2020, 10 months later. I went there today at 14:15 & the queue was about 50 people long. I went to the front of the queue to see if there was a separate queue for people just collecting their passports. I was told by the security lady at the door that there was no separate queue & I was too late anyway, the lady halfway down the queue had a sticker on & they would not let anyone behind this person in. I turned around & walked out. They have to be one of the most disorganized, disinterested, & plainly unhelpful organizations I have ever had the displeasure to deal with...

I went back today to try & get my passport again at about 10;00. I ask the same security lady, at the front door to the building, where I can collect my passport. She tells me I must wait outside the gate in the road. There is another queue outside & I go up there. I ask the security at the gate & they tell me I must go back down & join the queue. I then as some people in the queue, outside the building, & they tell me they are applying for a passport/ID document. I then ask security at the gate again & they send me back down to the entrance. I again ask the security lady at the front door & she just says “ go & wait outside”. Surly there is some way to collect a passport which does not entail being pushed from pillar to post by rude unhelpful people?
