Department of Home affairs central Cape Town

I am Amber I've now been waiting for almost two years for my gender marker to be changed I've handed in my documents made the payment even took new photos for the new ID CARD but up until today still nothing... When I call im told to call back in 2weeks with the same reference number when I call im told to call again in 2weeks this is pretty frustrating as im moving around with a ID CARD that doesn't correspond with my gender. We suppose to be living in a democratic country yet you get treated differently when you don't conform to what society believes is normal(right) I urge the department of home affairs central Cape Town to look into this matter if it's not addressed I'm going to the media because this is not fare and it's demeaning and goes against the constitution of our country.
